Quick, Easy, and Affordable

The revolutionary HAENER BLOCK system consists of interlocking blocks that "dry stack" (i.e. require no mortar), offering the potential for significant reduction in labor costs. Because the system consists of only three types of block (runners, ends, half blocks), the possibility of placement errors is virtually eliminated.

Each unit features raised lugs that are formed with a special shoe during manufacturing. These self-aligning lugs facilitate vertical placement, mechanically locking each block into place during stacking, thus eliminating the need for mortar. Horizontal connections are achieved by a tongue and groove system. Each unit is a full 8" high, 8" wide and 16" long with a stringent manufacturing tolerance of 1/32" (rather than the standard 1/16").

Versatile

Used worldwide in the US, Canada, France and Germany for a variety of commercial and residential applications, the Haener Block has been on the domestic market longer than any other mortarless systems available.

Superior Strength

The interlocking mechanism of the Haener Block allows the block to remain level and connected at all times, resulting in superior strength that exceeds the structural properties of the conventional concrete blocks and mortar system. The Haener has been approved by the National Concrete Masonry Association and certified through ICBO. Typical details for corners, T-intersections, L-intersections, window and door frames, and reinforced lintels have been developed.

Aesthetic

Beveled edges along the top of the Haener Block simulate mortar joints. Uniform blocks produce a professional and attractive finished surface.

"The HAENER BLOCK is a two-block building system that lays up to 10 times faster than conventional block, at a fraction of the project cost of conventional block," says Larry Bouchard, Vice President of Business Development for Haener Block. "After a masonry supervisor starts the first course level and plum, any available workers can then stack as many as 800 blocks a day each, producing perfectly self-aligning walls and corners."
